In My Opinion: I believe that AI is a tool whether it is used for art, marketing , writing or whatever the case maybe. To use it does take skill and practice but for many of the issues comes as non artist pass it off as original, when in fact they never painted, altered or make it their own. In that case it is a AI generated images made with prompts to create the art.
My opinion is not popular with the artist imposter because their main goal is to make as much money from what they pass as original. To be original you have to make that image something of your own with your creativity making those prompts be something original through your words not a copycat from other artists.
