Black bookstores have always been places where our stories live, our ideas move, and our communities gather.

Obsidian People is building a growing Black Bookstore Index to make it easier to find and support Black-owned bookstores across the country and online.
If you own a Black-owned bookstore, we want to know about you.

Add your bookstore below so readers can find your business, visit your website, follow you, and put their dollars where our stories live.
Listing is free.

Every submission is reviewed before it is added to the directory. Submission does not guarantee inclusion, and we may contact you if we need to verify information.

You don't have to own the store to help us build the list.
